On April 23, 2025, Williams & Connolly was honored with the Excellent Pro Bono Litigation Team award at the International Refugee Assistance Project’s (“IRAP”) Fifth Annual Pro Bono Appreciation Week, which honors attorneys and students who join in IRAP’s mission to “create a world where refugees and all people seeking safety are empowered to claim their right to freedom of movement and a path to lasting refuge.” Recognizing the firm’s work representing Afghans who risk grave danger because of their or their family’s work assisting U.S. forces during the war in Afghanistan, IRAP noted that “the amazing team at Williams & Connolly has worked diligently . . . with us to bring much needed relief for our SIV clients and their children.”
