John Joiner focuses his practice on complex litigation. He has represented corporations and individuals in commercial, class action, and multi-jurisdictional litigation matters in federal and state courts, regulatory agencies, and arbitration proceedings across the country. These matters have involved a variety of substantive claims, primarily False Claims Act, pharmaceutical product liability, RICO, and legal malpractice. He has been recognized by The Legal 500 for his work in the product liability and mass tort defense area.
Before joining Williams & Connolly, Mr. Joiner served as a law clerk for The Honorable Mary Beck Briscoe of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, The Honorable Clarence A. Brimmer of the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming, and The Honorable Steve C. Briggs of the Colorado Court of Appeals.
