The National Law Journal has named Enu Mainigi to its list of “Health Care Law Trailblazers,” recognizing “individuals who have changed the practice in their respective fields through innovative and exceptional legal strategies.” Among other things, The National Law Journal highlighted Enu’s victory in securing a decision from the Supreme Court of New Jersey that prevented the government from continuing to investigate a company after it had already made a decision on whether to join an FCA matter, as well as her ongoing work as lead and national counsel representing a distributor in investigations and litigation concerning the client’s distribution of opioid medications.
As Chair of the firm’s Health Care and False Claims Act and Qui Tam practice groups, Enu described her philosophy when approaching cases as follows: “We actively defend, advocate and help our clients push back against the government. We’re not rash or brash, but in strategic areas, we are not afraid to test new ideas and theories or promote new types of motions just because they haven’t been done before.”
