Patrick graduated summa cum laude from Duke University School of Law and received his B.A. in Economics and History from the University of Pennsylvania. During law school, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Duke Law Journal and was a student fellow for the Bolch Judicial Institute. Before joining Williams & Connolly, Patrick clerked for Judge Anthony J. Scirica of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and for Judge Paul S. Diamond of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
