John Villa Chairs Panel at the Tulane Corporate Law Institute Conference

Partner John Villa chaired a two-hour panel on “Ethics & Professionalism” at the 37th Annual Tulane Corporate Law Institute conference in New Orleans on March 7, 2025.  The panel focused on issues confronting lawyers handling and litigating major corporate transactions and offerings.

The Tulane Corporate Law Institute conference is considered one of the premier M&A, corporate and securities law conferences in the country.  Fortune magazine has described it as “Davos for Wall Street.”  There were over 870 attendees, including M&A, corporate and securities lawyers and litigators, together with many members of the Delaware Judiciary.  The conference is now available online.

John serves as co-chair of the firm’s Financial Services and Banking practice group and focuses his practice on corporate, securities and financial services related litigation, and legal malpractice defense.
