John Buckley to Speak at 12th Annual Dublin International Arbitration Day

On November 22, 2024, John Buckley will be speaking on a panel addressing “Privilege in International Arbitration” at the 12th Annual Dublin International Arbitration Day Conference. The Conference, organized by Arbitration Ireland, is held annually and features leading practitioners in the international arbitration community. John’s panel will discuss the differences in the common law and civil law approaches to legal privilege, litigation or work-product privilege, and settlement privilege and the need for a uniform rule.      

John founded the firm’s International Disputes practice and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the College of Commercial Arbitrators. His practice focuses on international and domestic commercial arbitrations and investor-state arbitrations.
