On October 20, 2022, Partners Ryan Scarborough and Steve Cady will speak on a CLE panel titled Corporate Officer and Director Liability: Trend Toward Increased Exposure for Individual D&Os. The CLE will discuss recent trends the in the law pointing toward increased exposure for corporate officers and directors, and will provide practical guidance on how to mitigate personal liability and fund the defense of individuals, including through indemnification provisions and D&O insurance, without waiving privilege.

This 90-minute webinar is eligible in most states for 1.5 CLE credits.

Ryan Scarborough draws upon his deep experience in both federal and state courts across the country to advise his clients and litigate cases. Ryan frequently defends financial institutions, law firms, corporations, and their directors and officers who are under investigation or find themselves facing litigation from government authorities, regulators, consumers, shareholders, and competitors.

Steve Cady is a trial lawyer who represents individuals and companies in complex civil matters and government investigations.  He has litigated dozens of cases in federal and state courts around the country, and has served as first-chair trial counsel in numerous matters.  He focuses primarily on matters relating to health care, technology, financial services, and national security.
