Partners Ashley Hardin, Amanda MacDonald, and Ellen Oberwetter will speak at the upcoming Driving Diversity in Law & Leadership Conference held in San Francisco on October 12, 2022. Ashley will speak on the panel “Leading Through Uncertainty: Prioritizing DEI Through Times of Transition,” which will explore new ways of adapting to challenges and prioritizing DEI initiatives in a hybrid workplace, and Ellen and Mandy will host a roundtable discussion. Ashley Hardin focuses her practice on complex civil matters and has litigated cases at both the trial and appellate level. A substantial portion of Ashley’s practice focuses on the health care industry and includes representing corporations and individuals in False Claims Act cases and other fraud matters, including in state and federal government investigations. Ashley serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative.
Amanda MacDonald Co-Chairs Williams & Connolly’s Securities Litigation and Enforcement practice group and is a leader in the firm’s investigations practice. Amanda has defended Fortune 100 issuers, underwriters, Big 4 accounting firms, and corporate officers in securities litigation, class actions, and investigations and enforcement actions by the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Amanda serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative.
Ellen Oberwetter is a Co-Chair of the firm’s Arbitration practice group and Chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy Litigation practice group. Her primary areas of practice have included patent and licensing disputes, legal malpractice matters, and bankruptcy litigation.
