Partner Vidya Mirmira will speak on the keynote panel at the upcoming Driving Diversity in Law & Leadership Summit to be held in Washington, DC on Wednesday, June 8th. The panel, titled “Perspectives from the Top,” will discuss how many companies and firms are beginning to feel the necessity of fortifying their commitment to DEI initiatives following the events of the past year and a half. The panel will also address the mounting pressure on General Counsel and Senior Partners to show up and take a stand on DEI initiatives by actively participating in changing the company’s culture and the way they do business. The Driving Diversity in Law & Leadership Conference is part of a series exploring this “new normal” and the effect it will have on the career paths of women and underrepresented professionals in legal and Corporate America. 

Vidya is co-chair of the firm’s Employment Litigation practice group. She has extensive experience in complex corporate litigation; employment, whistleblower, and ERISA litigation; whistleblower issues and investigations; and legal ethics.
