On Friday, January 21, 2022, partner Meg Keeley moderated the panel “Ethical Traps for the M&A Practitioner” at Practising Law Institute’s Mergers & Acquisitions 2022: Advanced Trends and Developments. Her segment addressed conflicts of interest and issues of privilege in M&A transactions as well as ethical issues in M&A negotiations.
Meg concentrates her practice on complex civil and criminal matters. She has tried over a dozen cases, including jury trials, court trials, and arbitrations, for corporations, law firms, and individuals throughout the United States. Her recent experience includes a particular focus on the defense of professional liability claims, as well as on securities litigation and enforcement. Meg is Co-Chair of Williams & Connolly’s Law Firm Defense practice group.
