On October 22, 2021, partner Liam Montgomery will speak on a panel titled “Emerging Contaminants Meet Hazardous Substances” as part of the American Law Institute’s annual CLE course on Environmental Litigation. The panel will discuss emerging contaminants with an eye toward trial strategy and management, including pending and enacted legislation, the selection and qualification of the emerging contaminant expert, and multi-district litigation and bellwether cases.
An eleven-year veteran of United States Naval Aviation, Liam zealously advocates for clients large and small. He focuses on complex civil trials, principally in matters relating to environmental law, life sciences, and financial and actuarial services. Liam has tried or arbitrated numerous cases, including two as the first chair attorney. He has managed and led civil and criminal jury trials and arbitrations for Fortune 50 companies, national banks, international consulting firms, and individuals in federal and state courts across the country.
