On October 16, 2020, partners Sarah Harris and Amy Saharia participated in a podcast hosted by the American Bankers Association that highlighted issues before the U.S. Supreme Court in its October 2020 term of particular interest to the banking industry. The discussion addressed several upcoming cases, but also covered more general topics such as briefing and arguing cases before the Supreme Court, some of the Court’s lesser known traditions, and their own experiences clerking on the Supreme Court. Sarah clerked for Justice Clarence Thomas on the U.S. Supreme Court, and is preparing to argue a statutory interpretation case before the Supreme Court in November, Salinas v. U.S. Railroad Retirement Board. Amy clerked for Justice Sonia Sotomayor on the U.S. Supreme Court.
