On December 9, 2019, partner Amy Saharia presented on a panel featuring post-argument discussion of Thryv v. Click-to-Call Technologies, a patent case pending before the U.S. Supreme Court. At issue in the case is whether 35 U.S.C. § 314(d) permits appeal of a decision by the Patent Trial and Appeal Board to institute inter partes review proceedings upon finding that 35 U.S.C. § 315(b)’s time bar did not apply. Williams & Connolly filed an amicus brief in support of the respondent.
