Williams & Connolly Wins at Benchmark Litigation’s 2025 Awards, Including D.C. Firm of the Year

March 2025

On March 6, 2025, the firm won two awards at the 2025 Benchmark Litigation Awards ceremony in New York City: Product Liability Firm of the Year and D.C. Firm of the Year, an honor we’ve received since 2015. According to Benchmark Litigation, the awards honor the country’s most renowned litigators and their firms for outstanding performance throughout the previous year.

Over the past two years, the Williams & Connolly Products Liability, Mass Torts, and Medicine practice group scored a number of victories on behalf of firm clients, including Pfizer’s summary judgment win in the closely-watched Zantac products liability litigation; Pfizer-subsidiary Hospira’s major appellate victory in the docetaxel product liability litigation; and Gerber’s summary judgment win on the eve of the first trial in the multi-defendant products liability litigation against all U.S. manufacturers of baby food products.* Last fall, The National Law Journal awarded the practice “Litigation Department of the Year: Products Liability.”
