On January 31, 2025, Williams & Connolly Supreme Court and Appellate Litigation chair Lisa Blatt was featured by Law360 in an article titled “‘Elite’ High Court Attys Have Outsized Role As ‘Repeat Players.’” Lisa has argued 53 cases before the Court, prevailing in 89% in cases decided. According to analysis by Law360, Lisa has the highest win percentage of any lawyer with more than 15 arguments on behalf of private parties.*
Lisa was also recently featured by Legalytics in an article titled “Who Wins at the Supreme Court? Exploring the Patterns of Victory in Major Case Areas.” According to the analysis, in “economic activity” cases from the 2000-2023 Terms – encompassing commercial and business-related cases, including tort and employee actions along with tangentially related government corruption and zoning matters – Lisa was the only advocate with a 100% win rate on cases decided.
