On December 20, 2024, Law360 featured Sarah Harris in its “High Court Bar’s Future” series, which highlights twelve advocates the publication has identified as future leaders of the U.S. Supreme Court bar. During her interview with Law360, Sarah discussed what she has learned from her experiences and her approach to advocating before the Supreme Court, explaining: “[a] good argument is more like a game of tennis. You’re moving the ball, you’re looking for opportunities to move it in directions that will give you a win, or more territory.”
Sarah Harris has argued five cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and obtained one summary reversal, in addition to presenting many arguments in federal courts of appeals and state appellate courts. Her cases have run the gamut of substantive areas, including constitutional law—especially First Amendment and separation-of-powers issues—as well as administrative law, arbitration, class actions, antitrust, False Claims Act litigation, commercial litigation, and federal civil procedure.
