On July 11, 2024, The American Lawyer featured Williams & Connolly partner C.J. Pruski in an article titled, “The Brother-Sister Litigators Who Took on the FTC Over a North Carolina Hospital Merger.” The article featured CJ alongside her brother, an antitrust partner at Gibson Dunn, defending healthcare clients Novant Health and Community Health Systems Inc., respectively, in connection with the sale of two CHS hospitals near Charlotte, North Carolina, from a challenge by the Federal Trade Commission. Both trial teams were featured as runners-up for The American Lawyer’s “Litigator of the Week” honors.

C.J. Pruski handles all types of civil and criminal cases. She has represented corporations and individuals in a broad range of substantive areas of civil litigation, including matters regarding the antitrust laws, the securities laws, and complex contract disputes. And she has represented clients in investigations by, and litigation against, the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and other government agencies.
