Williams & Connolly is pleased to announce the appointment of partner Dov Grossman as Co-Chair of the firm’s Patent Litigation practice. Dov joins David Berl and Jessamyn Berniker as Co-Chairs.
For two decades, Dov has been litigating patent matters on behalf of some of the world’s largest biopharmaceutical companies to protect their most important products. An accomplished trial lawyer with a background in chemistry—including medicinal chemistry—Dov has served as lead counsel in a variety of biopharmaceutical disputes, both in federal district court and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He has extensive experience litigating Hatch-Waxman disputes for successful branded products, from the pre-litigation phase through trial and appeal. Dov has also represented clients in various brand v. brand disputes, both in the biotechnology space and involving small molecule patents. Biopharmaceutical companies frequently rely on him to help coordinate global patent litigation involving patents in the U.S. and abroad.
