Partners Elaine Horn and Deneen Howell will speak at the upcoming Corporate Counsel Women of Color Annual Conference in Atlanta on October 5, 2022. Deneen will present the CLE “Closing the Gap for Women of Color in Executive Compensation,” and Elaine will present the CLE “Employment Law: Ethics and Legal Issues Around Remote Work” as part of the Corporate Counsel Women of Color Bootcamp. Deneen Howell is a highly skilled negotiator with broad experience helping authors secure book deals; advising former government officials, senior executives, public speakers, broadcasters and journalists (many of whom also are authors) in their professional pursuits; and counseling privately held businesses and non-profit organizations in employment and publishing-related matters. She is Co-Chair of both Williams & Connolly’s Transactions and Business Counseling practice group as well as its Employment Counseling practice group.
Elaine Horn advises a wide range of companies across multiple industries in litigation and arbitration matters involving internal investigations, anti-discrimination and harassment claims, as well as matters involving FMLA, contract claims and administrative proceedings. Her employment practice also includes counseling clients on corporate and nonprofit employment policies and pandemic-related employment issues. Elaine serves as Co-Chair of Williams & Connolly’s Employment Litigation practice group and the Employment Counseling practice group.
