Associate Youlin Yuan was recognized as a Rising Star by the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (“CPR”) during their Annual Meeting this year. According to CPR, its Rising Stars represent the next generation of leadership in the profession and the Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) community, not only for their excellent legal representation and top-notch dispute management skills but also for their leadership in pro bono activities and diversity, equity and inclusion efforts to improve the profession.
Youlin focuses his practice on international arbitration and complex commercial litigation. In his arbitration practice, Youlin has represented a sovereign state in multiple investment treaty disputes before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (“ICSID”) and a multinational corporation in commercial disputes before the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (“HKIAC”). Youlin also has experience representing leading U.S. and Chinese technology and telecommunications companies in litigations and government investigations relating to antitrust, content censorship, and national security concerns.
CPR is an independent nonprofit organization that helps prevent and resolve legal conflict more effectively and efficiently.
