The American Lawyer named partner Lisa Blatt among eight Litigators of the Year. As explained by the publication, the honorees “exemplify the exceptional ways the legal industry advises and innovates.”
Earlier this year, Lisa was named a 2021 “Top 10 Female Litigator” by Benchmark Litigation and “Appellate Practitioner of the Year” by Managing IP. The Washingtonian selected Lisa to its 2021 list of the “Most Powerful Women in Washington,” a designation she has received every year since Washingtonian’s inaugural list in 2011. In its 2021 edition, Chambers USA reported that clients describe Lisa as “one of the best advocates today. She is extremely strong on her feet, connects with judges and has an unmatched win record,” and her “command of the case law and the way she presents is a work of art.” In 2020-2021, Lisa led the practice to five victories before the U.S. Supreme Court.* The team’s industry-influencing victories have helped shape the legal landscape in areas as diverse as trademark, product liability, environmental, and commercial law.
