Williams & Connolly attorneys and staff contributed nearly $20,000 to support the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs, a new record for the firm. Founded in 1968, the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs works to create legal, economic and social equity through litigation, client and public education and public policy advocacy. Williams & Connolly is not only a long-time pro bono partner to the Washington Lawyers’ Committee but our firm’s founder, legendary trial lawyer Edward Bennett Williams, assisted in launching the organization.
Special thanks to the firm’s 2021 Associates Campaign Committee for spear-heading this effort: Beth Wilson, Liat Rome, and Annie Showalter.
