Kevin Downey serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and practices in the areas of complex criminal and civil litigation.  He continues Williams & Connolly's tradition of representing entities and individuals who face challenging, high profile cases, charges or investigations.  
 
Heidi Hubbard is Co-Chair of the firm’s Civil Litigation and Trial Practice Group and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.  Heidi tries complex civil cases for major clients in all sectors of the economy.  She has been lead trial counsel in disputes over financial and commercial transactions, competition, products, trade secrets, employment, and professional liability.  Regarded for her genuine jury presence, Heidi is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.  
 
Joseph Petrosinelli serves as Chairman of Williams & Connolly and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.  He is also Co-Chair of the firm’s Products Liability practice group.  Joe has tried numerous civil and criminal cases in federal and state courts, has been lead counsel in several significant U.S. and international arbitrations, and has represented clients in litigation and investigations matters in Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
 
Robert Van Kirk serves as Co-Chair of Williams & Connolly’s Complex Commercial Litigation and its Securities Litigation and Enforcement practice groups.  He has argued successfully at every level of the federal judicial system, including the U.S. Supreme Court, and has appeared in federal and state appellate and trial courts across the country representing both corporate and individual clients in complex commercial litigation, internal and government investigations, and congressional inquiries.
