Partner Ashley Hardin has been selected to join the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC). The IADC is an invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests. Founded in 1920, the IADC’s members hail from six continents, 51 countries and territories and all 50 U.S. states. IADC's core purposes include enhancing the development of advocacy skills, promoting professionalism and diversity, and facilitating camaraderie among its members, their clients and the broader civil justice community.
Ashley Hardin focuses on complex civil matters and has litigated cases at both the trial and appellate level. A substantial portion of Ashley’s practice focuses on the health care industry and includes representing corporations and individuals in False Claims Act cases and other fraud cases, including in state and federal government investigations. Ashley also has considerable experience representing a pharmaceutical distributor in the nation’s complex opioid litigation and in representing pharmaceutical manufacturers in product liability litigation, including class actions and multi-district litigation. In 2020, Ashley was recognized by Who’s Who Legal in their global guide to recommended healthcare lawyers, Who’s Who Legal: Healthcare 2020. In 2016, Ashley was named a Law360 "Rising Star" for health care law.
