On July 26, 2019, following a trial in Los Angeles, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California rejected claims that Williams & Connolly clients the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters, and Carpenters Local Union 721 had committed labor-law violations and state-law torts, and entered judgment in their favor.
