Williams & Connolly is pleased to announce that Sarah M. Harris has joined the firm as a partner. Before joining Williams & Connolly, Sarah served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Legal Counsel in the United States Department of Justice, and before that she was a partner at Arnold & Porter. Sarah clerked for Justice Clarence Thomas on the United States Supreme Court, Judge Laurence Silberman on the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, and Judge Sandra Lynch on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Sarah focuses her practice on appellate litigation, and will join partners Lisa Blatt and Amy Saharia in leading that practice, as well as participating in all aspects of the firm’s litigation matters. Joe Petrosinelli, Williams & Connolly’s Chairman, commented: “We are delighted to welcome a lawyer of Sarah’s caliber to Williams & Connolly. She will be a terrific asset not only to the firm’s appellate practice, but to our litigation practice generally, and we are lucky to have her join us.”
