Williams & Connolly is delighted to announce that Malachi Jones has rejoined the firm as its inaugural Chief Diversity Partner. In this newly created role, Malachi will chair Williams & Connolly’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee and devote all of his time to leading the firm’s efforts to further increase diversity and inclusion through recruiting, retention, and professional advancement. Diversity and inclusion, of course, remain core values of our firm.

Malachi also will provide vision to developing new and expanded initiatives. In addition to working directly with women and diverse attorneys to foster their development at the firm, Malachi also will work across the firm with partners, associates, and firm management to ensure an inclusive environment for all. Externally, Malachi will collaborate with clients to achieve our mutual diversity-related goals.
We are excited about the creation of the Chief Diversity Partner position and the leadership it will provide, and we are even more excited to be welcoming Malachi back into the partnership in this position.
