The International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), the international division of the American Arbitration Association, has appointed John Buckley to its Panel of Arbitrators.
The ICDR describes its Panel as “composed of specialists in international dispute resolution from around the world. This geographically diverse group is made up of highly regarded professionals from the business and legal communities…. Both internal (ICDR Executive Staff) and external review committees screen candidates for their case management skills, substantive expertise, commitment, ethics, training, and suitability to the caseload. Panel members are required to have achieved academic and professional honors that mark them as leaders in their respective fields.”
John is a member of CPR’s Panel of Distinguished Neutrals and its specialty panels for General Commercial Disputes in Washington, D.C., International/Cross-Border Disputes and Energy, Oil & Gas Disputes. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (FACTL). He is also listed on the arbitrator roster of the International Arbitration Institute of Paris (IAI). John is Co-Chair of the firm’s International Arbitration practice and has been repeatedly listed in Euromoney’s Guide to the World’s Leading Experts in Commercial Arbitration. Since 2015 he has been Clinical Visiting Lecturer at Yale Law School, where he teaches Advocacy in International Arbitration.
