Mark Lyon is Williams & Connolly's internal Discovery Consultant.
In his consulting role, Mark works closely with case teams to identify solutions to complex discovery issues and build effective, matter-specific workflows for both linear and technology-assisted review. He conducts internal and external training on critical discovery issues. Mark also supports clients in selecting vendors and improving discovery processes. As the firm's Discovery Attorney Staffing Manager, he provides daily support to our team of full-time Discovery Attorneys and the numerous onsite and remote temporary Agency Contract Attorneys assigned to individual matters.
Mark is a former software engineer, having developed and maintained applications for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and The Clarion-Ledger, a Gannett publication. He is highly experienced in the use, training, and administration of most major document review platforms and is both a Relativity Certified User and Relativity Certified Administrator. Before joining Williams & Connolly, Mark spent eight years with an international eDiscovery vendor, supervising projects and facilities in New York City, Gurgaon, India, and Washington, D.C.
Mark graduated from Mississippi College in 2004. He received his J.D. from the Mississippi College School of Law in 2007.
